“I see my work as a series of evolving installations,” says David Anderson, Creative Director at Unreliable Narrator Productions.
“The language of horror is inherently flexible, and speaks to us in a very primal way. These stories of monsters and survival in the face of death provide a safe way for us to process repressed fears and desires.”
A native of Los Angeles, David has been described as one part Leslie Knope from “Parks & Recreation”, and one part Leatherface. With a great deal of respect and affection for the horror genre in its many forms, he is inspired by the idea of blending somewhat familiar conventions with his unique sensibility to create imagined worlds. David’s list of credits includes Artistic Director for CreepLA’s 2016 season, and Production Designer for Drunken Devil. In addition, he has provided creative consultation and production support for Fright Fest at Six Flags Magic Mountain, Reign of Terror Haunted House, and Screenshot Productions. David also has 10 years of entertainment market research experience serving major studio clients with The Nielsen Company.
